Gulmarg enjoys a subtropical climate that features two major seasons, a mildly hot summer and a cold winter. During the summer months, temperature in Gulmarg climbs to mid twenties as June and July are considered as the hottest months of the year that experiences around 25°C of average high. Although the season gets a great level of rainfall, it will not prevent you from visiting outdoors. On the other hand, winter may appear chilly. Temperature in the winter months often drops to sub zero while the high may fluctuates between -3°C to -8°C. Snowfall, one of the most common features in Gulmarg,is witnessed during the months of Dec till Feb.
